Welcome! The app automates complex World Handicap System mathematics. Here is your ideal workflow:
Head to the Settings tab to add the courses you play frequently. Pick 18 or 9 holes, and enter the Par, CR, SR, and Tees. The app saves these securely to the cloud forever.
Before you tee off, go to the Dashboard, select your course, and tap Calculate Target Matrix. The app isolates your oldest dropping score and calculates exactly what gross score you need to shoot today to force your handicap down.
After your round, enter your Adjusted Gross score. The app applies all WHS rules (including Exceptional Score Reductions), updates your Index, and shifts your 20-round history.
Simulate future rounds using any saved course.

WHS indexes rely on your best 8 of your last 20 score differentials. We require your 20-round history. When calculating a Target Score, the app tests exactly what you need to shoot today to push your oldest score out of your top 8.
PCC (-1 to +3) is applied when the course plays significantly harder or easier than normal due to weather. A positive PCC actually lowers your differential because it acknowledges the difficult conditions. Enter it when posting a score if your club has published it.
Per the 2024 update, 9-hole rounds are no longer combined. A 9-hole score is now scaled up to an 18-hole equivalent by mathematically adding an "Expected Score" for the unplayed 9 holes based on your current Handicap Index. Our app handles this automatically.
Your Course Handicap dictates how many strokes you receive on a specific set of tees. The exact 2024 formula used is: (Handicap Index × (Slope Rating ÷ 113)) + (Course Rating - Par).
If you shoot a score that generates a differential 7.0 strokes or better than your Index, WHS automatically applies a -1.0 or -2.0 reduction to your entire 20-round record. Our app checks for ESR automatically every time you post a score!
